Articles

The Articles screen has two tabs: Local and Remote.

Local

Your own drafts, stored on this device. A draft exists here from the moment you tap New Article, or the moment you open a remote article for editing — either way, nothing changes on your site until you publish it.

Each row shows a status icon, the article's title, category and alias, and when it was created and last changed. Swipe, or press and hold, for:

  • Edit
  • Duplicate — makes an independent copy with "Copy of…" before its title. The copy is not linked to any remote article, even if the original was, so publishing one never affects the other. Images inside the article are shared with the original, not copied.
  • Delete — permanent. Export anything you want to keep first — see Drafts and Files.

Remote

Articles as they exist on the site right now, fetched a page at a time. This tab is read-only: tapping an entry opens it for editing, which either opens the matching local draft if you already have one, or downloads a fresh copy as a new draft if you do not. A blue pill on a Remote row means a local draft for it already exists.

Search and filters

The search field looks at titles (and, on Remote, whatever your site's own search covers). The Filters button opens sorting, category, tag, language and status filters; Remote adds Featured and Checked-out, which have no local equivalent since a local draft is not yet a real article on the site. Clear Filters resets everything at once.

Getting articles onto this screen

  • New Article starts a blank draft.
  • Import from file… reads a .grafida file — see Drafts and Files.
  • Opening a Remote entry, as above.

Reload metadata refreshes this site's categories, tags and the rest, the same as on the Sites screen.
